Another Loon-y Game!

Our first Loons game of the year!  I don't even remember what the score was, but I think the Loons lost.  Either way, we had a great time.  Check out the balloon hats the boys got, and the fireworks after the game.  Thanks to Grandma and grandpa Holman for such a nice time!

Olivia and the Beast

Today we saw Olivia in a production of Beauty and the Beast.  She did a fabulous job.  She was a villager, a waiter, and a member of the mob.  Lance really enjoyed the play.  Afterwards, Auntie Becky asked Lance who his favorite character was.  He thought for a minute, and replied "Olivia".  Boy, isn't that the truth?  Congrats, Olivia.  Can't wait to watch you in the lead role.  won't be long now!

Daddy/ Daughter Golfing

For the first time in four years, Dad and I went golfing together.  We drove all the way out to Howell to meet Uncle Ralph and Chuck for 18 holes.  I didn't do too badly, for not golfing in four years.  Dad golfed a great game.  I was proud of my 2 pars, and never getting over a 10.  I think this will have to be a more frequent event, and I need to buy myself a higher lofted club than a 9 iron.  But hey, I drove farther than Chuck on at least one hole, and that's what counts.  Now if I could only sink a put in less than three attempts...

We took the family up to the driving range today.  We mean, Grandma, Grandpa, Lance Roman Mom, Dad and Uncle Moose.  It was a blast.  Lance and Roman had a great time hitting the balls, but they had even more fun on the putting green.  Will Lance or Roman (or both) make it 3 generations of MWGL winners?  Time will tell...

This year's winner of the Indy 500 is...

LANCE CODY!  Well, maybe in a few years.  We went to B dubs today with Mike and Liz Firestone, and we decided to let him try the NASCAR driving game.  he sat on Mike's lap (so Mike could work the pedals) and Lance did 100% of the steering.  How'd he do?  23rd out of 26.  That's right, he didn't come in last.  Lance Cody, not a bad race car driver name at all.  Now whenever we go anywhere he asks "do they have a driving game there?"  I think we created a monster.

Clinton Township Fireworks

Today the whole gang went to the fireworks in Clinton Township.  They were fabulous!  We got had a perfect spot- right in front (thanks to Grandpa Mike and Grandma Claudia), and Dziadzia and Bucia could even sit in the car if they got cold!  We played a while on the grass, thenwatched the show.  What a great time!
