Danica races into our lives!

Today we went to see our new cousin Danica for the first time.  She is an adorable baby!  Angie is a natural mommy, but the most impressive part of our visit was how well the new daddy was taking care of his family.  we all know what a great guy he is, but he was truly amazing.  Both Angie and Danica are in good hands.

Spaghetti!!

Today we had spaghetti for lunch, and the boys enjoyed it so much, I just had to get some pictures!

Carousel at Lakeside

We went to Lakeside Mall with uncle Moose to walk around, and decided to ride the carousel. Lance loved to ride the zebra, although there were many wonderful animals to choose from!

Swimming Lessons

Lance has completed his second level of swim lessons. He really liked his Teachers- Connie and Kirk. Although he will be repeating the level B classes, he was the most improved student. He floated on noodles, went through the laxy river, walked on his hands like an alligator, and goes in the pool without mom and dad. We are very proud of him!

Pump It Up!

Pump it Up is a business that has big rooms full of inflatable items- like moonwalks, bouncers and slides. Everything in inflatable. some of the slides are huge, some play things are like obstacle courses, everything is very, very fun. On Wednesdays and Fridays, from 10-11:30am, only kids under 5 are allowed- with their parents. For a small fee (parents free) everyone gets to play. Lance had a good time- after a bit of a warm up, and Roman had a BLAST! Megan came too, and she was an invaluable addition to help since Lance needed support, and Roman wanted someone to help him go doen the slides! It was a really good time. I sprained my foot, but I will definitely go back!

Indoor Park

I worked Monday this week instead of Tuesday, which meant we could go to the Roseville indoor park (only open Tues and Thurs). It is basically in a grade school-style gym. They put a ton of toys in there and let the kid rin around. They had lots of fun, and so did Moose, Megan, and I!

Overnight at Grandma and Grandpa Michalski's

Today, Roman spent his first night away from home. Todd and I hosted a wine tasting party, and the boys went to Grandma and Grandpa's house and spent the night. I don't have any pictures, but I heard they had a blast- and formed a band! Lance on the harmonica, Dziadzia played the noisy stick, Roman banged the spoons together, and Grandma on the kazoo and grandpa on the drums. Then they switched. APparently these two boys take after their musically inclined father! Soon Lance will be playing the sax!

Michalski's Baby Shower

Today we had a shower for Jeff and Kathy and the new baby girl. It was a sucess, and It seemed everyone was having a great time. Thanks to Barb, Anna, Mrs. Sawosko, and my mom for all working together to pull this off! Many kids came and played downstaird with Todd, Chris C., Megan, and Tom Holman. A special thanks to Megan Baxendale for wrangling all the kids- they would have been miserable without her! She is an irreplacable fixture at all Cody events! We love her!
